Applique "Cat"

The friendship of a man with a cat totals more than one millennium. These graceful furry creatures protect the house and supplies from rodents, treat diseases, console their purring, using deserved love and respect. There are many ways how to decorate your house with a cat image, but the easiest and fastest is to make an applique made of paper or fabric.

  1. Print the cat template using the printer and translate the details onto velvet paper. We paste them on a printed out paper scheme.
  2. Zadekoriruem base paper green. We glue on the application of the cat, leaving a gap between the details of the head, ears and trunk.
  3. With the help of a white paint draw a cat muzzle and glue on the paint bead-eyes. For whiskers, use thin strips of paper. We decorate the cat with a ribbon bow.
  4. For the grass, we cut out of the green paper small strips - 2 pieces each. from a paper of each shade. From one edge of each strip, cut the fringe and glue it to the base so that the strips overlap and hide the lower part of the cat.
  5. Our cat is ready.

Even a baby will be able to make an application from geometric figures . To produce it, you will need to print on the printer or cut out circles and triangles from colored paper according to the scheme, and then paste them on the substrate, as shown in the figure.

Make an applique "Cat" from the fabric is not difficult. These animals are so graceful that they do not require many details - it is enough to cut out the silhouette and eyes from the fabric of a suitable color. We offer to print out printer templates

and translate them to fabric. Then you need to attach them to the substrate with adhesive paper for application (glued double-sided non-woven fabric), and make a decorative stitch along the contour manually or with a sewing machine.
