Bryupark

The parks of Brussels seem to be created for recreation and entertainment. One of the most popular is Bryupark, where the main sights of the city are located. Rest there like the child, and the adult.

What does Bryupark offer to its visitors?

There are so many interesting places in Bryupark that, it seems, there will not be enough for a whole day to thoroughly study everything. So, let's list the most interesting of them:

  1. Mini-Europe Park is most famous among tourists. Here you will find many European attractions, made at a scale of 1:25. These are the Eiffel and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Big Ben, and the Acropolis, and the Brandendur Gate. In the miniature square of Vienna you can hear the music of Mozart, and on the Parliament Square of London - the fight of the Big Ben clock, indistinguishable from the original. Very entertaining are numerous animations - the eruption of Vesuvius, the movement of ferries, cars and airbuses, etc.
  2. Atomium - no less remarkable giant structure in the form of an atom, which by its dimensions outshines all other attractions of Bryupark. The Atomium was built in 1958, and since then it has adorned the park, making it the most attractive place for Brussels guests of the city. Apart from the simple contemplation of this masterpiece, you can also climb to its top, from where you can see a wonderful view of the city.
  3. The water park "Océade" is a large swimming pool with a variety of water slides. This water park is open all year round, because the temperature is constantly maintained at + 30 ° C. A great place to relax with children in Brussels .
  4. The cinema campus "IMAX" is the largest in the whole of Belgium . Here there are as many as 29 cinemas! This entertainment zone is the most favorite for local residents already familiar with other attractions of the park.
  5. Restaurant-bar "Derevnya" , stylized as a true European village. Here you can have a bite of Belgian cuisine or just take a walk, admiring the unusual design.

How to get to Bryupark in Brussels?

The park, as expected, is located quite far from the historical center of Brussels. It is located in the Hazel area, which is on the outskirts of the city. You can get here by metro (station "Hazel") or by car, moving along the highway (on the road it takes about 15 minutes). And to navigate the terrain will help you Atomium, which is visible from afar.

The park is open to visitors from April to September every day, starting at 9:30 and ending at 18:00. In the cold season, from October to mid-January, Bryupark accepts those who wish to relax from 10:00 to 17:00. And from the end of January to March the park closes. The cost of entry to the Bryupark is 13.8 euros for adults and 10.3 for children. Children up to 1 m 20 cm are free.
