• the cap should contain as few internal seams as possible to avoid rubbing the baby's delicate scalp, especially avoiding them on the back;
• the headdress should be chosen from a natural "breathing" fabric, high-quality and soft to the touch;
• to pay attention to the caps of a simple style, not burdened with excess strings, bows, buttons and elastic bands: first of all, parents should think about the comfort of the baby;
• winter hats for newborns should cover not only the child's forehead, but also his neck, necessarily having convenient ties;
• buying a headdress already born baby, first measure his head: the correct size of the cap for the newborn will provide him with comfort and convenience.

Types of caps and their seasonality

It is worth noting that, in addition to following the above rules, when choosing a hat for crumbling, you need to take into account the time of the year in which the child will wear it. In summer, you can buy a few cotton bonnets, and on cool evenings fleece hats for newborns, which can later come in handy, like a hood under a hood or a warmer hat in cold weather, are suitable. Now in the shops a large assortment of summer caps without straps is presented, they are very convenient because the child does not rub anything in the neck. Warm hats for newborns, designed for socks in the spring and autumn, are usually made of terry or knitted jersey. In general, for this period it is quite difficult to choose a headdress: in it, the child should not be either cold or hot, so it is better to purchase several to be ready for every whim of nature. For example, when the wind is strong enough, the baby will feel comfortable in the cap for the newborn with ears. Suitable for this type of headgear and for winter, but it should be made of a denser and warmer material. If at the coldest period of time you choose a knitted hat, take care that in a particularly windy and snowy weather the child is also in the hood. Many winter models of hats for babies have fleece lining, which certainly protects the crumb from the cold, but it should be remembered that this is a synthetic material that some children can cause allergies. The assortment of shops also has hats made of natural fur, which very well support thermoregulation and preserve heat, their only disadvantage is a relatively high price compared to other headgear.

Finally, I want to say that every mother must decide for herself what headwear to buy for the baby, the main thing is to take care of his comfort. It is not worth chasing the fashion and making out of the crumbs "doll", you will have enough time for this in the future, but now the safety, functionality and convenience of the headdress are more important for the child.
