Making a child's bed by own hands
To begin with, you need to stock up on certain tools / materials. In the case of a bed, you may need the following items:
- Sheets of hdp (dimensions: 1830x2620 mm)

- metal corners (4 pieces);
- euro screws (45 pieces);
- self-tapping screws (50 pieces) and screws (32 pieces);

- Build . Using a drill, you should drill holes and fasten the parts with screws. First, the backs are assembled with shelves, then the rest of the frame.
To strengthen the design of the inner corners of the bed are fastened with metal corners.
- Boxes . If you want the bed to be strong and functional, then put the bottom of it in drawers. They will be able to store sheets, bedspreads, pillows and even children's toys. The side parts of the boxes can be made from fiberboard, and the bottom of the chipboard. So they will withstand any loads.
- Guides . To ensure that the boxes slide smoothly and smoothly, use metal guides. They need to be fastened to the inner walls of the future bed. After installation, insert the crates into the bed and check for any obstructions to open them. If everything is done qualitatively, you can safely attach metal handles.
- Heels . Now turn the bed over and stuff the legs with special plastic heels. They will protect the floor covering from scratches and will not allow the bed to "walk" on the floor.
As you can see, making a baby bed with your own hands is not at all difficult. Moreover, you have the opportunity to choose the right number of shelves, the depth and number of boxes, the height of the berth. When making furniture, be sure to focus on the parameters of the mattress on which the baby will sleep. It should fit into the frame of the bed, without creating gaps and cracks.
