Yes, because very often its name sounds in Hollywood movies, it is legendary, according to one of whom the creator of the cocktail "Cosmopolitan" was Cheryl Cook from Florida. She supposedly wanted the cocktail not only to amaze everyone with its taste, but also admired its appearance. It was also believed that the vodka that is part of the cocktail "Cosmopolitan" is "Absolut Citron", although now it is successfully prepared with any other high-quality vodka. When making the cocktail Cheryl Cook used lemon juice and liquor "Triple-sec", which has the aroma of orange.
Tobby Cizzini slightly changed the prescription of the cocktail "Cosmopolitan", taking for his preparation a high-quality liqueur "Cointreau" and fresh lime juice.

- vodka - 50 ml;
- liqueur "Cointreau" or "Triple-sec" - 25 ml;
- cranberry juice - 50 ml;

Fill the cocktail glass with crushed ice. Just cool the shaker, in which we will shake the cocktail "Cosmopolitan". Fill ice with ice for two thirds.
Pour into the bottom of the shaker 50 ml of chilled vodka, 25 ml of chilled liquor. Chilled juice is mixed, and added to the shaker, in an amount of 50 ml. Extrude the same 25 ml of lemon or lime juice. Shake the cocktail in the shaker. We throw ice out of the cocktail glass and pour into it a ready cocktail from the shaker - we should get exactly one serving.
