They are fastened to the frame and transformed with the mechanism together. There is also a mechanism of sedaflex, in which the back cushions are also transformed: they curl over the seat cushions, and all of them are under the mattress .
The frame of the American folding sofa is also made of metal, but, unlike the French, here as the base - orthopedic bent pads and a rather thick mattress with a spring block and a layer of soft filler from above. So to rest and constantly sleep on such a sofa will be very comfortable.
