Peter and Fevronia loved each other very much, and when they died (it happened one day-July 8, according to the new style), their bodies joined together miraculously and were transferred to one coffin, although they died in different places. In 1547, according to the decision of the Orthodox Church, Peter and Fevronia were declared saints, you can visit their relics at the Holy Trinity Church in Murom. It is believed that Peter and Fevronia always help couples who can not conceive a child.
Every year on July 8 in Murom, you can visit a big concert, the final day of the Family Day. This concert is free to visit, traditionally all the residents of Murom and visiting tourists come here.
