Dryer for linen own hands

Linen is often dried in an apartment, which means that you need to have a special place for this. Someone will be satisfied with the ropes stretched in the bathroom, someone will buy an expensive device in the store, wall or ceiling, and someone will think about how to make a dryer for clothes on their own. If you are just one of those who like to show themselves creatively, look how the original clothes dryer, made by own hands, can look.

For work you will need:

  1. Let's start with the preparation of the mobile part of the dryer. Measure and cut the uneven bars - four pieces to assemble the frame. Then cut four lengths of the same length from the wooden rods. In the wooden beams with a drill we make grooves where the rods will be inserted.
  2. We firmly insert the bars to get a strong grille, because on such a dryer, not only light things will be hung. For the convenience of assembly, the bars can be narrowed at the ends, slightly beveled.
  3. Now we look, whether the homemade dryer for clothes becomes equal, whether all crossbeams are parallel, whether all rods are well fixed, then fix the upper and lower bars with usual nails or self-tapping screws.
  4. We take a board that will be attached to the wall, we adjust it to fit the already made part - the width is equal, and the length of the board should be more by 10-15 cm. We join both parts with a furniture loop.
  5. Further the design can be painted in the color that will be appropriate in your interior. After the paint has dried, we add the dryer for the laundry with the necessary functional elements. First, we fix the lock on the top.
  6. Secondly, from the side we screw the folding mechanism. Its size and angle of attachment will depend on how much space, for example, in the bathroom can be occupied by a dryer.
  7. In the lower part of the wallboard, mark three points at equal intervals, drill small holes in the points and fix the furniture knobs or conventional hooks in them.

The most basic plus is that such a drying for clothes, made by own hands, is easy going and does not take any place on the floor or in the cabinet when not in use.

Also this design, when things do not dry on it, can be used as a hanger or a towel holder.
