Although the schemes of weaving macrame bags are mostly complex and require the possession of the technique of weaving different knots, newcomers in macrame can weave their first handbag-string bag. How to weave a bag macrame?
First you need to master one of the simplest macrame nodes. For convenience, colored ribbons were used instead of threads, so that it would be better to understand how to bind them.
In fact, this knot is the most common knot that we are used to tie up from childhood, only it knits around two central threads. One tape passes behind the central two tapes, the second - in front of them. The second knit is also knit.
A new node always begins with the thread that emerges from under the "crossbar" of the previous node. If this rule is observed, the finished weaving is not twisted.
In order to weave the macrame bag with your own hands, you will need a base. It is best to use polystyrene foam, since it is easiest to fasten the support for threads. The width of the foam is also the width of the bag.
- In the basis, retreating from the edge of 1 cm, pins are stuck.
- Since it turned out 12 pins, you need to prepare 24 threads: one pin secures 2 threads. The main thing to consider is that the length of the threads should exceed the length of the string bag by 4 times. That is, if the bead is 40 cm long, then you need to take the length of 160 cm.
- We fix the thread on the pins. To do this, each thread is folded in half and have one another loops (as in the photo).
- It turns out that there are 2 threads on each pin, but because of the length doubled it seems that on each pin there are two threads on each side, that is, only 4 threads.
- Now it is necessary to make the threads of one pin look one way. The arrangement of threads on pins should alternate, that is, on the first pin all 4 threads look to the right, on the second - to the left.
- Now begins the weaving. From each pin, two threads are taken and pulled to two strands from a neighboring pin. 4 working threads are obtained, with the help of which the pattern described above is used. Weaving is short-lived, only 2 knots (you can increase the number of knots). Then the threads are separated once more and transferred two to the next neighboring threads, so that the weave is staggered.
- The side threads, located at the edges of the base for the bag, are thrown to the opposite side of the base, to the other side of the weave.
- In the end, you should get this picture:
- Shave the bag until the desired length. The weaving turns out to be circular, that is, the bag is padded around the base.
- We form the bottom. For the bottom of the thread, simply bind the bottom. The ends of the threads can be tied in several large brushes, or you can just gently cut it.
- We make pens. To do this, we remove the pins and form the loops on all the threads. Then we divide the threads into 4 parts.
- From an ordinary soft rubber tube make two blanks and pass them through one of the four parts of the threads. In the middle of the future handle of the thread, we bind the knot with one more part of the yarn and cut off the ends.
- We move the rubber tube to the unit, closing it. In the end, you should get one pen.
- We repeat the procedure with the second handle.
- A bag of macrame is ready!
