Electric instantaneous water heater for crane

If there is no centralized heat supply in your house, this does not mean that you will have to tolerate the absence of hot water in the tap. After all, in order to make life more comfortable, there is an electric water heater on the tap. It can be used in the kitchen and bathroom, only it is necessary to choose the correct power of the device, so as not to be deceived in their expectations.

The indisputable advantage of an electric flow-through water heater on a faucet in front of a similar storage unit (boiler) is the relative simplicity of installation and the minimum space occupied. Uninformed people consider flow-through devices more energy-intensive, but this is completely wrong.

The fact is that the storage device heats a large volume of water, and then constantly brings it to the desired temperature, while using a lot of energy, depending on the capacity of the tank. Flowing though, and is more powerful, consumes electricity only with an open tap.

Characteristics of electric water heaters

As a rule, an electric water heater of running water is made of a durable thermoplastic that does not deform and does not lose its appearance from the temperature drop. On most modern heaters, it is possible to set the desired temperature from 40 ° C to 70 ° C.

There are two types of flow (direct-flow) electric water heaters - one designed for a standard 220 V network and has a relatively low power from 2 kW to 5 kW. Such a heater is suitable for installation in the kitchen, so that it is easy to wash dishes, but for the shower it can not be used.

Another type of such a heater requires a three-phase 380 kW network, which happens most often in private cottages. Here you can already install a device up to 25 kW and use it for showering and filling the bathroom.

All modern models have a built-in sensor that reacts to the opening of the crane - as soon as the water pressure appears, the heating element switches on automatically.

Inside the flowing water heater is a simple design consisting of a fan of a different configuration and a small capacity in which it is located. Water, getting into this tank, instantly heats up to the set temperature and goes outside. In models where it is not possible to set the desired temperature, it can be increased or decreased by adjusting the water pressure - the smaller the jet, the hotter the water.

The electrical diagram of the water heater is not particularly complicated, you just need to remember that to connect it you will need a separate branch from the switchboard with the machine in case of network overload.

How to choose an electric water heater?

To stop the selection on a particular model, it is necessary to understand what purpose this electric appliance will serve. So, the main criterion of choice is the capacity of the electric flow-through water heater to the tap.

The more powerful the device, the more hot water it can warm up in a unit of time, and the stronger the jet from the tap. Agree that a weak heater, which is suitable for washing dishes, is completely inappropriate to normally take a shower - the jet will be very weak, or strong, but with cold water, since the device simply will not have time to warm it up.

Another criterion in the selection is the ease of installation - there are such heaters that a person who does not have any technical education can install. Such a device can be taken with you to a dacha or picnic and enjoy the benefits of civilization in the bosom of nature, the main thing is that there is electricity.
