For many years, as a gift, we often choose money. And, like, the gift itself does not require special packaging , but I'd like to add a bit of spectacularity and charm. We can help with this with a scrap-envelope for money, but not purchased, but made with our own hands.
Envelope for money in technology scrapbooking - a master class
Necessary tools and materials:
- colored cardboard, beer cardboard;
- scrapbooking paper;
- texture paste;
- acrylic paint, spray for scrapbooking;
- stencil;
- palette knife;
- Scissors, ruler, stationery knife;
- brads, twine, inscription;
- double-sided adhesive tape, adhesive.
Next, we make an envelope for money with our own hands, following our master class:
- First of all, we fit the cardboard to the desired size.
- After that we'll make a creasing (we'll sell the folds) - I did it with a ruler and a tea spoon.
- Next, you need to trim the excess, giving the cardboard the shape of the envelope in the layout.
- We cut the paper into parts of the necessary dimensions.
- We glue the paper on the substrate from the front side.
- And also a rectangle on the inside - it can not reach the bottom line, but cover the top part.
- Prepare a texture paste - we adjoin it with an acrylic paint of a suitable color
- Using a palette knife, we paste our paste on the envelope through a stencil.
- And add some gloss with a bronze spray.
- Cut out two small circles of beer cardboard and two circles of more color cardboard.
- We paste the circles one on the other, so that we have two "mushrooms" - on top of the colored cardboard, and from the bottom of the beer hall - and then paste on the envelope, which we have not yet glued together.
- We fix the cardboard circles with the help of brads.
- Now on the inside, we hide the "mustache" of the broads under the paper.
- The inscription, pre-glued on the substrate, is glued to the envelope and, if desired, fixed to the corners of the broads.
- We glue the envelope.
- And the last item we add is a twine - it will hold the envelope in the closed state.
