A coffee panel with your own hands - what do you need for this?
In order to produce a picture of coffee beans from our own hands, we need the following materials:
- the frame for the picture, preferably it was made of dark wood, and its size was not less than the A4 sheet size, otherwise the picture of the coffee beans would turn out too clammy and sloppy;
- ingredients for the most common salted dough, which we use as the background of the picture;
- a small coffee cup, preferably white;
- a square saucer from a coffee set;
- a small spoon for coffee;
- paint gouache, brown and mustard-colored;
- a patch of light brown gauze fabric;
- PVA glue;
- and, finally, coffee beans - they will need no more than 100 - 150 grams.
As you can see, all materials are absolutely natural, and most of them are always in the house of each landlady. If everything is ready for work, we will make a panel of coffee with our own hands.
Coffee picture-panel - master-class
- First of all, let's do the test. Many like the white color, however, in order to make the background not ideal white, but had a light warm shade, we will add a little rye flour to the dough.
- We cut our saucer in half.
- We knead the dough, roll out a thickness of 1 cm and cut off the edge of the frame for the picture.
- Next, we press our dishes into the dough and leave them to dry for a day.
- After a day we take out all the items and again leave the workpiece for the picture to dry.
- And this is how our panel looks from behind - as we see, everything should be neat.
- To achieve a greater contrast, we will cover the frame with a layer of gouache paint, but if you have a beautiful dark frame with a rich color and without damage, this is not necessary.
- 8. As you can see, joints between the frame and the edges of the dough are visible. Let's fix it, having spread out and pasting on perimetre coffee beans.
- Then we glue the elements of the dishes onto the dough.
- Now there was only finishing. Take a piece of gauze or sackcloth, make a beautiful long fringe and gently glue under the saucer.
- It happens that when drying, cracks form in the test. Do not be upset earlier than the time, we'll beat the situation for ourselves - we'll crack the crack with a strong solution of coffee.
- Next, glue the coffee beans on a spoon, saucer and make a few accents around the composition.
- The final step is the inscription "Coffee" with mustard-colored gouache or a strong coffee solution.
