Before you make a tourniquet from the beads, you need to prepare the following materials:

• needle;
• thread for beading;
• two kinds of beads of different colors - small and large.

In the picture, a blue bead is called a stop-bead. After the end of the weaving it will need to remove and fix the thread, so it does not need to be pulled too much. But the stop-bead is optional. If you immediately put on a string beads large size, then in this case it should be properly pulled.

The essence of this technique is that first you string one big bead, then three different sizes, then again one big, then three smaller ones. In this case, the number of beads strung the second time can vary - it is not necessary to take three beads, it can be five, ten, fifteen - at your discretion.

Now we begin to proceed directly to the creation of the American rope. For the basis, it is better to use larger beads, since in the process of work it will be necessary to repeatedly pass through the same bead. Needles for the same reason should be selected thinner.

1. We take one large bead and fix the end of the thread on it.
2. String followed by three more large beads.
3. Next, put on a thread ten small beads.
4. Now you need to make a circle of beads. To do this, thread a needle and thread in the first and subsequent large beads and pull them together.
5. The next three items will be repeated periodically.
6. We take a large bead.
7. String again ten small beads.
8. Now the most important thing. Needle must enter the second large bead and go through 2, 3, 4, 5 beads of large size.
9. Then we tighten the thread.
10. Here begins the repetition. Again, take a large bead and thread it on the thread.
11. Again we use ten small beads.
12. Then we enter the third large bead and the subsequent 4th, 5th, 6th.
13. Strongly tighten.
14. The third time we take a large bead.
15. We collect small beads.
16. We enter large beads with a needle and pull it together.
17. We got such a design. Next, we continue to alternate one large bead, ten small ones and pass the thread through the remaining large beads. This method of beading should be used until you get a bracelet of the desired length.

In this case, you can use a different number of beads to create a bracelet. In the example described above, the number of beads of braiding and the base is different (5 by 10), but it can be made 3 for 4, 4 for 3, 10 for 10, etc.
