However, to create an envelope for money with your own hands, you can use a sheet of any thick paper (you can take a color for printing), which is easy to give the desired shape. But do not get carried away: the cardboard can break at the joints.
To create a beautiful envelope you will need colored two-sided envelope and lining paper, a thin two-sided scotch, a pencil and scissors. For an envelope it is better to choose a plain paper, and for a lining - with an ornament and a pattern. Presented as a gift of certificates, cards, money or confession, I want to pack the gift with my own hands , surprise with the design. There is nothing easier than going to the store and buying an ordinary white envelope or a banal greeting card with flowers and the inscription "Congratulations!". However, it is much more pleasant to make an unusual envelope yourself. There is no limit to fantasy, and skills are needed minimum!
To begin with, you will need a colored paper (square sheet), you can take with a picture or ornament and scissors.
- We need to outline the main lines of folds of the future envelope. To do this, we fold the sheet in half, iron it, unbend it, then bend-smooth it, stretch it diagonally.
- Next, take the right half of the sheet and bend the edge to the middle line, unbend.
- Again we bend the edge, but already to the line that was obtained earlier, we unbend. After that, straighten the sheet and fold it horizontally in half, unbend
- We turn our sheet to make a diamond with lines on the right upper edge. Repeat the same lines on the left side, bending and unbending the edge, as they did before. All the lines for our envelope are ready.
- Fold the top corner, as shown in the picture, and then bend the edges along the fold lines.
- Zigzag fold the top corner, then bend the tip so that its edges coincide with the lines of the side strips.
- Bend the side pieces to the center along the lines in the picture and bend the bottom corner.
- Lower corner bend back and fold the corners from the bottom to the center.
- Fold the folded corners in half and straighten their back out.
- The resulting workpiece is bent so that the corners from below come under the upper bent corner, forming a heart.
- You can bend the side corners, so that the heart becomes clear. The envelope is ready!
How to make a beautiful envelope for money?
In order to make a beautiful envelope for money, you will need your imagination, accuracy and some materials for scrapbooking. Such materials you can buy in any store for creativity and needlework.
Materials that will be needed:
- white cardboard;
- white office paper;
- paper for scrapbooking of two types (differing in pattern);
- double sided tape;
- ornaments for cards: flowers, beads, butterflies, pearls;
- punch for the openwork edge;
- satin ribbon 35 cm;
- ruler, pencil.
- So, first, we'll notice a square sheet of white cardboard. We measure from the left edge 8 cm, then retreat 9 cm and 6 cm, draw strips, by which we bend the future envelope.
- From the upper and lower horizontal edges, we will retreat 1.5 cm and draw parallel lines to the edges. Cut the envelope along these lines, leaving pieces only on the middle part of the envelope (as shown in the picture).
- Take the scrapbooking paper and cut out the sides of the envelope with the dimensions: 7.8 x 19.8 cm, 8.8 x 19.8 cm and 5.8 x 19.8 cm.
- Paper for scrapbooking with another pattern is cut into pieces measuring 7.8 x 8 cm, 5.8 x 8 cm
- We process the white office paper with a patterned hole punch and attach pieces of scrap paper No. 2 to the edges.
- Using double-sided adhesive tape, glue small pieces with openwork edges to the sides of the envelope from scrap paper of the appropriate size.
- We glue the sides of the envelope from scrap-paper to the cardboard base of the envelope, except for the back part.
- Now the turn of the satin ribbon: attach it to the back of the envelope in such a way that it can be tied in front with a bow. We sealed the satin ribbon with the remainder of the scrap paper.
- At the front of the envelope we attach jewelry, pearls. Your envelope for money is ready!
