Therefore, the old part after a breakdown can not be immediately thrown out. It is better to take it with you to the store and show it to the seller.
A crane-box with a black rubber gasket (cuff), located on one side, called a worm, is an older model of this part. Due to its low cost and ease of repair (it is only necessary to change the gasket), it is very popular. But due to the fact that such a crane-box has a short service life and to shut off the flow of water, it is necessary to do 2-3 turns with a valve, there is a need for its improvement.

How to unscrew the crane-axle?
For this we will need a new crane-bug, screwdrivers, pliers, gas wrench or pliers.
- We cover the water in both taps.
- Remove the decorative cap from the lamb and unscrew the bolt that holds the mixer flywheel.
- We remove the lamb. If it does not work at once, then you need to do this by tapping it with pliers alternating up and down.
- Then we remove the part that hides the crane-axle.
- We twist the part we need. This must be done counter-clockwise.
- Sometimes on the faucet of hot water, the parts boil up. Therefore, if the crane is not twisted, you can do the following:
