When your walls are prepared, that is, aligned and primed, it's time to take them directly for pasting them. Prepare the glue by following the instructions on the packaging. Let it brew for 15 minutes, mix well again, and you can proceed.

Measure the room to know the required length of strips and their number, cut the rolls into strips.

Be sure to mark the wall before gluing the first strip. To do this, use a plumb line or level. Draw a vertical line with a pencil, along which you will navigate, pasting the first canvas.

Now apply glue to the wallpaper using a sponge or a brush.

Apply the first strip from the top. Combine its edge with the drawn line. Using a clean rag or sponge, remove air from under the wallpaper.

It remains to plan and cut off the extra wallpaper.

We continue our work. Correctly glue wallpaper as a butt, and overlap - it all depends on the thickness of the wallpaper. If they are paper , you can make a small overlap, and thick vinyl or non-woven wallpaper is better pasted.

Fold the strip with the "accordion", but so that the front side is not stained with glue.

Mark a line on the ceiling along the width of the strip and paste the painting tape on it. Then attach to the ceiling a strip of wallpaper, starting from the corner and paste, adhering to the drawn line. Simultaneously, smooth the strip with a rubber spatula, a cloth or a sponge.

When you reach the next wall, cut off excess wallpaper with a sharp knife.

Similarly, continue to cover the ceiling until it is completely ready.

How to properly glue wallpaper with a picture?

Here's a tip on how to properly glue wallpaper with selection: work simultaneously with 2 or 3 rolls, picking each next strip alternately from different rolls. This will significantly reduce the consumption of material.

The only thing you need to do before starting the selection of a drawing with 2-3 rolls at the same time is to cut off 40 cm from the first and second roll. And one - at the beginning, the second - at the end. This is the stock left at the factory for more precise coordination of the figure and facilitating its selection.
