Methods for removing stains from strawberries

How can you take such a seemingly threatening stain from berries? It turns out that there are many ways for this. Let's consider some of them.

  1. To spread a stained thing over a basin, a large plate or other container capable of withstanding very hot water. Pour on the stain of boiled water from the kettle until the contamination disappears. An important condition: boiling water should be steep, even slightly cooled water removes stains worse. However, with delicate fabrics that do not tolerate high temperatures, you can not reduce stains in this way - you risk spoiling the product. Do not advise to remove stains from strawberries with soap: this will only fix the stain and in the future it will be more difficult to remove.
  2. Another popular method of removing stains from strawberries or other berries and fruits: white things from linen or cotton can be soaked in milk, and then stretch in the water. Or you can pour on a stain a mixture of hydrogen peroxide with water in the ratio: 1 teaspoon per half a cup of water, and then rinse well with cold water.
  3. If you need to remove stains from strawberries with colored fabric, then you can use a mixture consisting of one yolk and 30 grams of glycerin. It is necessary to smear the stain with this composition and leave it for a few hours. Then you can wash the thing warm (not hot!) And rinse with cold water.
  4. Fresh stains from strawberries, as practice shows, you can remove the slurry from salt and water. The product to be cleaned, spread on a flat surface and wipe the stain with a rag with salt mixture, starting from its edge to the center. With this method of cleaning, the stain does not spread out. After half an hour you can rinse out the thing, and then wash it with warm soapy water.
  5. And here's how else you can remove stains from berries: rinse the stain with cold water and pat it with a napkin to remove excess water (just do not rub!). Then mix the white vinegar with baking soda so that a liquid gruel is obtained. Apply the mixture on the stain and let stand for 15 minutes. Then rinse the product with cold water and wash with powder in lukewarm water. In the event that the stain has not been washed to the end, it is necessary to repeat the whole procedure, but more often everything departs from the first time. If your washed clothes are white, then it is best to dry it in the sun, because sunlight is the best bleach.
  6. Aged berry stains can be removed by mixing 2 grams of citric acid with one glass of water. Drizzle with this solution, stain, stand for half an hour. Then wash the product in lukewarm water.
  7. Today, there are various stain removers on the market that will help you to wash things like stains from strawberries, as well as from mulberry, blueberries, beets and other berries, fruits, vegetables and herbs. With white fabrics it is good to remove stains with bleach, however for colored fabrics this method is unacceptable, as it can spoil the fabric, discoloring it.

The action of any chemical should be pre-tested on the binder or in any other inconspicuous place on the product. Do not use very concentrated solutions, it is better to repeat the treatment if the stain has not departed. We recommend removing all stains from the strawberry from the underside of the product, placing blotting paper, napkins or cotton cloth under it.
