For a child, such a toy, made with a soul, will always be the most valuable, for an adult person it will become a wonderful souvenir that radiates love, warmth and comfort. A toy, sewn from soft natural fabrics, can become a favorite pillow for a child or a good friend with whom he will fall asleep in his bed with pleasure.

Sewing a soft toy with your own hands

To make a soft toy with your own hands, we will need the following materials:

• fabric gabardine white, coffee or beige, from it we will make the body of a cat;
• cotton fabric any, preferably bright colors for panties;
• a satin ribbon for a butterfly, color black, dark brown, or, as shown in the example, black in white peas;
• small light buttons for sewing cat handles;
• acrylic fabric colors black, brown and white;
• thread of a brown mulberry;
• a bouquet of artificial flowers;

How to sew a cat toy with your own hands?

1. First of all, in order to sew a toy, we need to build patterns - we will make two details of the cat's body, two details of the panties and four details of the pens. The size of the pattern can be increased by printing it on a larger sheet.
2. Now we translate the patterns on the fabric and execute the machine stitch, leaving a small non-sewn place for stuffing.
3. Next, we cut out details of the cat's calf along the contour of the stitch, retreating a couple of millimeters as an allowance.
4. Now we turn the body of the cat on the front side. First of all, we fill the sintepon with the ears of the cat, we try not to stuff them too tightly. Then immediately spend on the front side of the ears and carefully cut the thread, tying on a knot.
5. Now we fill the sintepon with the remaining parts of the cat's calf, we carefully sew the holes left by hand. The cat's body is ready.
6. Now we are going to make panties for the cat. Take the cut of the colored fabric.
7. Twice the edges of the fabric and stitch it. If the machine has an overlock function, the edges can be overturned and tucked once.
