In addition, you can decorate yourself with such a wreath at the photo session in the spring . In this article, we will share our knowledge on how to make a wreath of dandelions.

How to weave a wreath of dandelions?

First of all, you must have patience, a good mood and a bouquet of dandelions with long stems. To a wreath turned out fluffy and elegant, dandelions should be blooming and fresh, with large heads. Below is a master-class on weaving a wreath, guided by which you can weave a wreath from both dandelions and any other colors.

  1. We begin to weave a wreath from two dandelions, crossing them at an angle of ninety degrees. For the beginning of a wreath it is better to choose large dandelions with thick long stems.
  2. The stem of the upper dandelion is bent and circled around the lower dandelion so that it is to the right of the bud. We direct the stem so that it overlaps the base of the bud.
  3. Repeat the paragraph two the right number of times, weaving all subsequent dandelions, until the wreath reaches the required length. To wreath came out beautiful and lush, like a crown, we need to weave flowers tightly, firmly pressing them to each other. Do not forget to try on a wreath from time to time to stop the weaving in time.
  4. Having reached the necessary length of the wreath, proceed to the connection of its ends. This is a very important operation, because of how carefully the wreath is fixed, its beauty and longevity depends. To ensure that the wreath comes out neat, first you need to fill up all the protruding ends of the stems. To fix the ends we take in hand the beginning and end of the wreath, and turn the flowers away from ourselves. Take a new dandelion and attach it to the beginning of the work. We'll start the stalk of the dandelion for the first flower and circle it around until the stem becomes short. Repeat this operation with the next dandelion, from the place where the previous one ended.
  5. Continue securing the wreath until all loose dandelion stems are securely attached to the wreath. The stem of the last connecting dandelion must be securely secured. To do this, we introduce it into the middle of a bundle of stems.

You can also weave a wreath of dandelions in a simpler way, according to the "pigtail" principle. Dandelions for such a wreath can have shorter stems than in the first version, but must necessarily be flowering and fresh, because it affects the appearance of floral decoration.

  1. To start the wreath, take three dandelions and begin to weave a braid from them. Having made the first coil of the braid, add a fourth to the central dandelion and make a new turn.
  2. Add the next dandelion to the stem, which turns out to be central, and we make the next coil of the braid.
  3. Wear a pigtail from dandelions, weaving more and more flowers until the wreath reaches the desired length, equal to the circumference of the head.
  4. From the wrong side, our wreath will look like a real braid, and all the ends of the stems will be neatly intertwined.
  5. We connect the ends of the wreath, tightly wrapping them with a thread, or weaving the loose ends of the stems into a braid.
