Coffee horses - master class

The totem of the next year will be a horse, so various images of horses are very popular. Craftsmen prefer to make souvenirs for their own gifts, as well as talismans for protection and decoration of housing. Coffee toys-horses are not only cute, but also exude a pleasant fragrance in the room. Horses, tinted coffee, as well as other "coffee" toys are stuffed not only with soft material, but also with coffee grains, vanillin or cinnamon for smell. The proposed master class will tell you how to make coffee horses in stages.

You will need:

Pattern of coffee horse

The proposed pattern can be saved as a picture and printed through a printer on A4 sheet size. It is possible to draw independently similar shapes, increasing the size - it's easy.

  1. The material is folded in two by the front side inward, all parts of the pattern are transferred to the fabric. In order that the fabric does not move, we fasten it with pins. Cut out the details with 0.5 cm allowance. On the sewing machine, we sew each part, leaving a small piece not sewn, in order to turn the details later on. Only the muzzle of a horse is fully spread.
  2. Manicure scissors make a cut in the lower dilated part of the head 3 cm long, turn the piece through the incision (you can use a stack, a pencil, etc.). Synthepone (hollofayberom) and pieces of cinnamon, vanilla stuff all parts carefully, except the ears. We sew not closed segments with a hidden seam.
  3. Now let's start making ears. Since they must be mobile, we attach them to the wire frame. Cut off the wire and insert it into the details of the ears, make a note with pins and sew on the front side, so that the wire is between the edge and the seam.
  4. Sponge we paint the details with a strong solution of coffee. Dry all the blanks. Sewn dry details.
  5. In order to make a bang-mane, we make a small pompon: the length of the thread is laid in the middle of the fork, winding across the necessary amount of yarn. We cut the thread we laid across, and cut the pompom on the sides.
  6. We make a tail out of yarn. Sew a bang and tail. With the help of acrylic paints (or felt-tip pens), we draw features of the muzzle and the front legs of the horse.

The coffee horse is ready!

A nice horse can be sewn and, using other patterns, made of fabric or felt .
