A fan of newspaper tubes

Many will not believe, but the creation of decor elements from such a seemingly ordinary thing as a newspaper is a busy, though troublesome, but very interesting. In our today's master class we will tell you about the weaving of a fan of the newspaper pipes.

Fan of newspaper tubes (option 1)

For weaving a fan out of newspapers we will need:

We begin to make a fan of newsprint with our own hands

  1. Let's start with cutting out the base of cardboard. To do this, draw 5 circles on the cardboard, as shown in the diagram.
  2. Cut the workpiece out of cardboard with a clerical knife. In the same way we also cut out the second part of the base.
  3. We divide the newspaper into strips and twist them into tubes, wrapping them on a knitting needle and gluing the tip with glue.
  4. With the help of an adhesive gun we fix the tubes on one part of the base. We glue the second half of the base from above.
  5. The upper and side faces of the fan are made out by gluing newspaper tubes to them.
  6. In the lower part of the fan we weave bent newspaper tubes and cover the resulting fan with acrylic paint.
  7. We decorate the fan with paper flowers, ribbons and beads.

Fan of newspaper tubes (option 2)

The second version of the fan from the newspaper tubes is less laborious and more airy.

It will require:

  1. For our fan, we need 33 tubes of newspapers or paper. We cut it out from a paper of small diameter and bend it in half - this will be the basis of the fan.
  2. We put the tubes inside the base and fix it with glue.
  3. To ensure that the structure is not so fragile, we'll splice it with ribbons or threads.
  4. Decorate the fan with decorative elements - ribbons and paper flowers.

Cute fans can be done in other ways.
