More about Inuyama Castle in Japan

This landmark is located in the homonymous city of Japan, off the banks of the river Kiso, on top of a 40-meter hill. The history of the castle begins in 1440, although some historians speak of an earlier period of foundation. Today we see the image that the structure took in 1537, with an eye for some outbuildings in 1620. Inuyama was built on the site of the Shinto temple. In its structure, Inuyama has 4 ground floors and 2 basements. The first two levels were assigned to barracks and weapons, followed by living rooms. Today inside the building you can not only admire the traditional Japanese design of the home, but also visit the Weapons Museum.
