History of creation
An ingenious idea for the creation of the "Indonesia in miniature" park originated with the first lady of Indonesia City Hartinach. The wife of President Sukarno wanted to show the world how diverse and rich the culture of her country is. In 1972, a project was developed, the main idea of which was to cultivate the national culture of the Indonesian people . The grand opening of the Mini-Indonesia Park took place on April 20, 1975, and today it is the most fascinating and interesting of the man-made attractions of Jakarta .

You can see how the decoration of the Javanese rulers, and the poor huts of the Papuans. In most pavilions there are guides who tell about the history and customs of the provinces. In Indonesia, there are 33 provinces, because the park is gradually expanding, and new pavilions are being built in the northeast.
- Museums of "Mini-Indonesia" carry away from the first seconds. The largest of these is Purna Bhakti Pertivi with its marvelous collection of works of art donated for the years of President Sukarno, and the Indonesian Museum with an extensive ethnographic exposition. In addition, there is a museum of stamps, Komodo lizards, insects, East Timor, and others.

Features of visit
The Mini-Indonesia Park is open daily from 7:00 to 21:00. The entrance fee is $ 0.75, most of the pavilions are free, but the fee is separate for visiting theaters and museums.
The territory of the park occupies 150 hectares, therefore it is very difficult to walk around the whole territory per day. For the convenience of visitors, various ways of traveling are organized here:
- bicycle rental per hour $ 0.75- $ 0.90. You can choose single bicycles, double, triple and even bicycle;
- a ticket to the funicular costs $ 3, this type of transport is very convenient for viewing the entire territory from a height;
