History of creation

An ingenious idea for the creation of the "Indonesia in miniature" park originated with the first lady of Indonesia City Hartinach. The wife of President Sukarno wanted to show the world how diverse and rich the culture of her country is. In 1972, a project was developed, the main idea of ​​which was to cultivate the national culture of the Indonesian people . The grand opening of the Mini-Indonesia Park took place on April 20, 1975, and today it is the most fascinating and interesting of the man-made attractions of Jakarta .

The Mini-Indonesia Park is open daily from 7:00 to 21:00. The entrance fee is $ 0.75, most of the pavilions are free, but the fee is separate for visiting theaters and museums.
