Caring for lawn from clover

Sow grass mixtures that contain clover, or only clover should be before the third decade of August, so that it could take root before the cold comes. Clover and loamy soils are best suited for clover, with weak or neutral acidity. He prefers a well-lit place, since shading from tall and thick herbs depresses him, does not tolerate a large humidity. Clover flowers usually twice a season: first time - from May to August, then - from August to October. After the first flowering, it must necessarily be mown.

Types of clover for lawns

There are several types of clover grass:

  2. Lawn from pink clover is more resistant to weather conditions, does not require frequent mowing, watering, is used even when creating pastures for animals.
  3. Lawn from red or meadow clover must be planted in early spring.

There are two types: early ripening - for southern regions and late-ripening - for central and northern.
