Lemon juice for the face

Lemon juice is a natural whitening agent that is widely used in cosmetology. Lemon juice is known for the fact that it contains a large amount of vitamin C, which is useful for the health of the whole body. Many cosmetics designed to improve skin color and have a rejuvenating effect, certainly contain vitamin C, and therefore lemon juice can either enhance their effect, or completely replace it.

Lemon juice from acne

Lemon juice is useful for girls who have problematic skin. Natural lemon juice has a powerful immunostimulating effect, and also antibacterial, which makes it ideal for dealing with pustular lesions. In addition, the owners of problem skin often have a fatty skin type, which creates a favorable environment for the development of bacteria that cause acne, and this problem can also fight lemon juice, because it dries the skin.

For spot treatment of rashes it is possible to use undiluted lemon juice - lubricate the affected areas after washing before moisturizing the skin.

If lemon juice is used for all skin of the face, then it is necessary to apply it in a diluted form. Cook daily freshly squeezed lemon juice - 1 tbsp. and dilute it with 1 tbsp. purified or mineral water. After that, you can wipe your face with lemon juice, without fear of drying your skin.

Lemon juice from freckles

Lemon juice for the skin is also used for clarifying freckles and pigment spots. Remember that after using lemon juice it is necessary to protect the skin from direct sunlight - use creams with a high protection factor. In the opposite case, you can achieve increased pigmentation spots or the appearance of new freckles.

To get rid of freckles, it will take several times a week in the morning and evening to lubricate the skin with diluted lemon juice. The effect can be strengthened if you make a mask based on it:

  1. Mix 1 tbsp. honey with 1 tbsp. pink clay, 2 tbsp. lemon juice.
  2. Dilute the mixture with purified water in such an amount that a creamy consistency is obtained.

This mask is aimed not only at bleaching the skin, but also on cleansing it of bacteria.

After lemon juice has been used, the skin needs to be treated with a nutritious cream, so as not to cause flaking and a feeling of tightness of the skin.

Also, note that whilst whitening with lemon juice, you should avoid getting it into the area around the eyes - thin skin in this area is prone to wrinkles, and contact with lemon juice can speed up their appearance.
