Molds for pavers

If you intend to do the independent manufacture of pavers and paving slabs , you need to purchase a quality mold that will suit you and allow you to get a quality paving stone.

What are the forms under the pavement?

First of all, the forms for pavers differ in material. Today the bulk of molds are made of PVC plastic, ABS plastic and polystyrene. It is not recommended to take rubber molds for pavers, because the tiles and paving stones obtained from the bottom do not fit well.

It is also not recommended to take molds from secondary granular polystyrene, because in practice they do not guarantee the promised quality of the resulting pavers. With them, it is difficult to make a molding, because tiles or pavers are very poorly out of such forms. In addition, the forms quickly become unusable.

The molds for the production of pavers from film PVC plastic proved to be the best ones. They serve longer than others, they are suitable for any technology, do not require washing after use. Cobbles in them are prepared for about 12 hours. The thickness of the walls of this shape is from 0.8 mm.

The forms of their granulated polymer polystyrene produce the floor by the action of high pressure. They always have a clear geometry and high quality. With them, you can produce up to 500 castings. The resulting paving stones have a perfectly flat glossy surface. The molds are suitable for any tile manufacturing technology.

Another category of forms for pavers are molds. They are made of hard materials, most often - of metal. The process of working with such forms is as follows: the molds filled with concrete are placed on the vibrating table and, in addition to vibration, the vibrating punch acts on the mixture, after a while, the matrix and punch rise, and the finished tile remains on the table.
