Ready-made sets for embroidery paintings

All the schemes in the embroidery sets are black-and-white or have the color of the conventions approximated to the tones of the corresponding strings. The interpretation of these symbols is usually given on the same sheet as the diagram. Sometimes schemes are executed on several pages with indication of their sequence.

Also in the set, an organizer with threads is an obligatory element. The organizer shows all the same conventions as in the diagram.

Thanks to such a convenient designation, it is very convenient to embroider a picture. It remains only very carefully to repeat the drawing and not to stray, so that you do not have to redo it - it takes a lot of time, strength and thread (which then may not be enough).

MK on embroidery of paintings with a cross

If you are the first time embroidering a picture, choose simple and small copies. Earlier on our site we already described the correct sequence of embroidery.

Sometimes in patterns and descriptions of sets, various types of stitches are indicated, such as single, half crosses, stalk stitches and so-called French knots.

Let's try to deal with some of them. And the simplest stitch is a single cross. It is most often found in embroidery schemes.

Such a cross is obtained after two diagonal stitches performed in equal sequence. It is necessary that the whole picture looks smooth and beautiful. For example, we make a diagonal stitch from left to right, then from right to left.

At the same time, make sure that the thread tension is always the same and not too tight, this will avoid the formation of gaps between the threads of the canvas.

The sequence of applying crosses can be vertical (most often) or horizontal.

Whichever way you embroider a picture, fix the thread on the back of the canvas so that it is held by the next stitches. Nodules in embroidery are unacceptable, because they make the painting uneven.

Sometimes in the scheme there are half stitches or ¾ stitches. They are performed quite simply, so do not rush to panic. That's how they look after they're done. Also below is a variation of a half stitch made from the corner of the cage to the center.

Perfectly embellishes the French stitch embroidery. However, it is a bit difficult to execute. To do this, hold the loop of thread around the needle, then pull the needle with the thread very slowly and carefully.

For embroidery of fine details of a picture, such as twigs of leaves, whiskers of animals and so on. a stalk stitch is used.
