The ravenous gray wolf is the hero of many well-known children's fairy tales and cartoons, so without this character there is not a single New Year's matinee. If your child decided to try on this role, you need an appropriate suit. A necessary addition to it is a mask. Make it simple, and the image of a fairy villain will be complete and complete. We will need:
- felt gray, light gray, white and black colors;
- templates from paper;
- elastic;
- glue;
- scissors;
- needle, thread.
- Below are the patterns of the details of the wolf mask, which we will do by our own hands. Gently cut them out. Then transfer to the felt the appropriate color and cut along the contour.
- After all the details of the mask are cut, take the two main ones and cut out the holes for the eyes.
- Before you sew a wolf mask, it is worthwhile to connect the parts with glue so that they do not move. To do this, grease them on the back with glue, attach each other as shown in the photo, and then draw on the mask with a well-heated iron.
- It's time to try on the mask, so that the baby is comfortable in it. If necessary, adjust the size of the eye holes using scissors. Make sure that the sections are neat, without jaggies. Now slightly increase the size of the outer layer of the mask in the eye area.
- From the black felt cut out two arc-shaped parts, gently lay them between the two layers of the mask, glue the details. This will give the eyes a great expressiveness, emphasizing the similarity with the muzzle of the wolf.
- Our mask is almost ready, but how will it be held on the child's face? It's simple! Measure the circumference of the baby's head, and then pick up the elastic band of the appropriate size. Place both ends of the rubber band between the two layers of the mask and secure it tight. This can be done with glue or by hand stitching.
- Now everything is ready to sew a mask. Of course, it is easier to stitch it on a sewing machine, but if you do not have it, you'll have to work with your hands. In this case, make sure that the stitches are the same, because the seam passes over the face of the mask.

And this problem can be solved in a matter of minutes! An excellent alternative is a wolf mask made of paper. They should be slightly bent inside the mouth to give the mask volume. Then we glue the tongue, eyebrows, decorate the ears with strips of paper from the inside. A mask of paper is ready! The case for small - paste on both sides of a strip of paper, with which the mask will be held on the head of the child. Try on the mask to adjust the length of the strips. Then cut off the excess and glue the ends of the strips.
