Imbalance of the intestinal microflora leads to a violation of the digestibility of substances, which worsens well-being and worsens chronic pathologies. For the treatment of dysbiosis, patients are prescribed drugs-eubiotics whose list is presented below. The main active substance of such agents are strains of beneficial bacteria present in the human body.
Medicines are effective against pathogenic microflora. They colonize the intestines with useful microorganisms, creating an acidic environment and an unsuitable atmosphere for the growth of "harmful" bacteria.
Features of drugs-eubiotics
Maintaining intestinal microflora may be necessary when:
- treatment with antibiotics;
- chemotherapy ;
- restoration of vital forces after the transferred operations and illnesses.
They are widely used due to such properties:
- elimination of constipation;
- relief from irritable bowel syndrome;
- normalization of metabolism;
- reduction of allergy symptoms;
- reduction of cholesterol;
- weakening the intensity of Helicobacter pylori infection.
Means, which contain lactobacilli, are advised to drink during antibiotic therapy. Thus, it is possible to prevent the emergence of dysbacteriosis, which can later be difficult to get rid of.
Another kind of eubiotics are preparations containing bifidobacteria, also used for dysbacteriosis; on the contrary, they do not drink during antibiotic therapy, since drugs against bacteria inhibit their work, preventing them from multiplying.
Types of drugs-eubiotics
There are three families of eubiotics.
Bifidobacteria
These drugs are prescribed in the treatment of intestinal diseases in poisoning and infections. The most famous representative of this group is Bifidumbacterin.
To the eubiotic family of bifidobacteria also include the following drugs in the list:
- Beefilong;
- Bifidumbacterin-fote;
- Bifilysis.
Lactobacilli
These drugs are used in the therapy of bowel dysfunction. These bacteria are present in each department of the digestive tract. There are such drugs:
- Lactobacterin;
- Acipol;
- Atzilact.
Colibacteria
These drugs are referred to the third group. The first known drug produced on the basis of bacteria is Colibacterin. It is prescribed for chronic ailments of the colon in elderly people.
Another drug - Bifikol - combines the properties of bifido- and colibacilli.
In addition to eubiotics, for the normalization of the digestive tract and the treatment of dysbacteriosis, probiotic preparations are also isolated. Their feature is that they activate the growth of microflora and inhibit the activity of pathogens.
