Salad from sorrel

Sorrel was used to food Slavs not so long ago. But this herb has already established itself as a piquant, fresh and incredibly useful component of many popular dishes. One such is a sorrel salad that can be made by adding leaves to other ingredients. Several possible combinations of such vitamin foods we offer below in our recipes.

Salad from fresh sorrel with egg, cucumber and mayonnaise

Sorrel for salad preparation, like other greens, and lettuce leaves are washed in cold water, spread out for a while on a towel and let dry. Now we remove the leaves from the ponytails and cut them in small pieces. I also shred some fresh strawberries with fresh cucumbers and rub it on a grater or we also grind a small knife with boiled and cleaned chicken eggs with a knife.

We combine all the prepared components of the salad in a bowl, add salt to taste, pepper, season with mayonnaise and mix it.

How to prepare a salad of nettles and sorrel?

To make an incredibly useful salad from sorrel and nettle, rinse the greens under running cold water, we get rid of its tails and stems. The nettle leaves must be additionally doused with boiling water, and then dried. The stalks of my green onion, cut into small pieces and put together with the shredded rather small leaves of sorrel and nettle in a wide bowl. There also send small-sized freshly squeezed cucumbers, which if necessary, cleaned from the skins (if it is tough). Add to the rest of the ingredients chopped fresh greens, fill the dish with sour cream, yogurt or mayonnaise, add salt and mix. We serve the vitamin salad immediately.

Salad with sorrel and tomatoes

A salad is prepared in a few minutes. Fresh tomatoes, wipe dry, cut into slices and put into a bowl. In advance, we wash the leaves of the sorrel, tear off their tails and spread them to tomatoes. Add the crumbled soft cheese, fill everything with olive oil, pepper and podsalivaem. Gently mix and immediately served to the table, shifting into a salad bowl.

Salad from sorrel and radish with apple

Starting to prepare salad, wash the fresh sorrel, greens, onions and lettuce leaves and lay out to dry on a towel. During this time, we clean and remove the apple from the core and grate it on a large grater. Cut the medium-sized slices of washed radish and put together with the apple mass in a wide bowl. There we also send shredded sorrel, green onions and dill, fill everything with sour cream, add salt and mix it. Spread the food on the leaves of the salad on a platter and immediately served to the table.
