What are the symptoms of allergy to dust in children?

Often an inadequate reaction to dust looks like banal rhinitis. The baby constantly has episodes of a common cold, which practically does not respond to treatment. From the nasal passages, a clear, non-green liquid is released. Therefore, if your baby walks for a long time with a wet nose, it is possible that he has such a reaction to household dust contained in carpets, soft upholstery of sofas, cushions and a favorite teddy bear.

If there is an increased concentration of dust in the room, wet cleaning is rarely carried out, the child's eyes turn red and tear, and he also sneezes repeatedly. The baby can have a headache, and the general condition may be depressed. Such an allergic reaction is also characteristic of pollen of plants.

Symptoms of allergies to medicines in children

It is not always possible to predict how the body will react to a drug prescribed by a doctor. Most often, the allergy manifests itself in the form of rashes on different parts of the body - the face, under the arms, in the groin, on the buttocks or extremities.

The rash can have completely different forms - be solid reddening, look like scaly, inflamed skin or small watery blisters. Small-blistered rash is also called hives. In rare cases, a swelling of the throat, similar to laryngospasm, is possible, and then the child needs urgent medical help.

Symptoms of food allergy in children

Toddlers up to two years very often suffer from allergies to the most harmless products, but with age this tendency decreases. There is a reaction to food, like cheeks redness (diathesis), rashes, which can be red or colorless on different parts of the body. Much less often intolerance of products is expressed in a disorder of the stool, pain in the epigastric region, or Quinck's swelling.

Symptoms of animal allergy in children

Wool, saliva, feathers, feces and cutaneous allocation of animals can be the strongest source of allergy for a child of any age. Some babies have permanent problems with the common cold, their eyes are sore (allergic conjunctivitis), there is regular sneezing.

In more severe cases, animals can cause regular bronchospasm, obstructive bronchitis and, eventually, asthma. Therefore, if you notice that the child often has episodes of exacerbation of bronchitis, then perhaps you need to take a closer look at pets, because even aquarium fish, or rather, dry food cause illnesses of the child's respiratory system.

What are the symptoms of an allergy in the sun in a child?

Solar allergy manifests itself directly when the rays hit the open area of ​​the skin, which immediately becomes covered with red blisters. Inflamed areas constantly itch, causing additional anxiety. Most of all, the face, shoulders, chest and hands are exposed to rashes. Such a child should avoid the sun whenever possible and wear closed clothing all the summer long.
