Since it was impossible to stop distributing idle speculations, the merchant simply built a beautiful house in the Gothic style. On his facade he ordered to make a bas-relief with an inscription in Latin: "Let them talk as much as they want."
  2. Another interesting place of the square is the Loggia , where in old times the meetings of the richest people of the city were held. Now it houses an art gallery, which is one of Piran's most visited attractions.
  3. The oldest building of the square is the Tartini house in the Gothic style. Its restoration was carried out during the period from 1985 to 1991. The building is run by the Italian diaspora. On the ground floor there is the house-museum of Giuseppe Tartini, whose exposition clearly shows how the great composer lived and worked.
  4. The square also houses the Piran City Hall , located in a beautiful three-story mansion with half-columns. Its façade is adorned with St. Mark's lion.
