Wine path

The Moselle Valley is considered one of the most famous wine regions in Europe. It is also the starting point for tourist wine tours that run along the river through the territories of three countries: Luxembourg , Germany and France. But it is in the Luxembourg part of the valley that the heart of the wine industry is located. Since the Luxembourg part is to the south, the vineyards receive more sun and the wine is more saturated and tart. This fertile land attracts tourists with the delightful beauty of nature, amazing sights and hospitality of local people.

Mosel wine from the best vineyards

The Luxembourg wine path, 42 km long, runs along the Moselle River. It originates in the famous village called Schengen and ends in Grevenmacher. The wine path is laid along endless vineyards through the towns and villages of the valley, past distilleries and local wine cellars. For most locals, winemaking is a family tradition for several centuries. Their love for their native land and family craft is embodied in a tart sparkling drink.

A variety of wines and an abundance of flavors will amaze even the true connoisseur of this drink. In the ancient wine cellars and restaurants you will be offered to taste sparkling Kremman, elegant Riesling, floral Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, light Rivaner and rich Pinot Noir. Despite the fact that Luxembourg wine has excellent quality, the prices for it are quite acceptable. The fact is that the country practically does not export its drink - Luxembourgers themselves consume most of the production. Since Luxembourg wine has almost no reputation in other countries, it turns out that winemakers have to give a bottle of exquisite Riesling in just 3-4.

For tourists in the cities of Luxembourg, various festivals and holidays are often held, and lovers of active recreation will have the opportunity to participate in the marathon on the wine path.
