Almost all future moms can spend hours choosing small things for their baby. The closer the childbirth, the more the pregnant woman is going through the collections in the maternity home: is everything prepared, is everything bought for herself and the newborn. To forget nothing, let's try to make a list of things that are necessary for the newborn in the hospital.
What things should a child take to the maternity hospital?
Collecting the "alarm case", and he should be ready already for a period of 32 - 36 weeks, it is worth remembering that you do not need to take all the dowry bought by the child. Only a minimum of things is needed, the main thing is that they should be:
- convenient;
- practical;
- from natural fabrics;
- without seams;
- clean and ironed.
Take into account the season and the temperature of the air on the street. Things in the hospital for a newborn in the winter and early spring will need more than in the summer and early autumn. In the cold season, preference should be given to warmer things: from flannel, wool, etc. It is better to take two versions of the same garment, that is, one option is easier (for example, from calico), and the second - warmer (from bikes or flannels). If the stool is heated well in the postpartum department, then the baby can be worn in "summer" clothes, and if the maternity hospital is cool - things will be dense.
So, the baby in the maternity home will come in handy:
- diapers at the rate of 5-6 pieces per day (thin and warmer);
- blanket or plaid;
- gloves-scratches;
- sliders or panties (which is more convenient to understand already in the course of use) - 2-3 pairs per day;
- socks (often they are not needed for warmth, but for supporting panties, which often fall in newborns);

- bonnets, cotton hats (enough 2 pieces);
- set on the statement.
Note that each maternity hospital has its own rules: in some hospitals any things are allowed, in some - only certain ones, according to the list. There is a maternity home and "strict regime" where it is forbidden to bring their own things to the baby, and the newborn will be in "official" clothes and diapers, often washed out, before being discharged, but treated as they should.

But the means of hygiene maternity is unlikely to provide. Normally, before you give birth, you will be asked to pack with diapers (you need a small pack for newborns weighing 2-5 kg), wet napkins and disposable absorbent diapers.
- For a baby toilet, you will need a cotton swab: with a stopper for the spout and ears, without a stopper - for the treatment of the navel.
- Wadded disks of the child wash and wipe eyes.
- Scissors for newborns will be useful to trim the crumb of sharp marigolds, with which he himself scratches himself.
- Just in case, take a cream with a diaper - lubricate the ass for the prevention of diaper rash.
- If in the hospital you will be offered a zelenka for processing the navel, you can replace it with Baneoocin or Chlorfillipt - many doctors recommend using these drugs for the umbilical wound.
The best way to collect things is to know in advance the order adopted in the hospital where you plan to give birth. Perhaps you will not need anything other than a pack of diapers, or you may have to buy medicines. In any case, you do not have to worry. If you have forgotten something, the relatives will definitely give you the necessary things.
