Unconventional drawing in kindergarten

One of the main activities of children attending pre-school educational institutions (kindergartens), in all age groups is drawing. And in order to arouse interest in this type of classes and contribute to the development of the child's creative potential, it is recommended to use non-traditional methods of drawing.

Thanks to the imagination of educators, there are more and more new types of non-traditional drawing techniques that can be used for children in the DOW.

There are certain recommendations in which groups of kindergarten which kinds of non-traditional drawing are better to start using.

Unconventional drawing in the younger group

Since children of younger preschool age, only begin to get acquainted with non-traditional drawing, then in classes it is better to start acquainting them with the most simple techniques: drawing by hand and stamping.

Hand Drawing

For such lessons you will need: white paper, brushes, paints (gouache or finger), a cloth or a tissue for wiping hands. The essence of this drawing is that using the hand and its parts instead of the brush leaving their prints, get interesting drawings: a fence, a sun, a hedgehog, or you can simply print with your finger.

Work with a stamp

Children are very fond of something to stamp, so they happily type the outline of the desired figure. If desired, then these figures can be drew in the necessary details.

Unconventional drawing in the middle group

During this period, children continue to draw with their hands, get acquainted with drawing and printing of various subjects (leaves, cotton swabs, thread, etc.), the technique of poking hard brush.

Printing

You can use: foam rubber, crumpled paper, foam, leaves, cotton buds and much more.

It will take: an object that leaves the desired imprint, a bowl, a gouache, a pad of thin foam, white paper.

Methods of drawing: drawing in children is obtained as a result of the fact that the child presses the object to a cushion-impregnated cushion and then applies an impression on the white paper. To change the color, you must wipe the stamp and change the bowl with the paint.

Nitcography

It will take: thread, brush, bowl, gouache paint, white paper.

The drawing technique is very simple: the child folds a piece of paper in half, then applies the selected color to the thread, spreads it on one side of the paper, and the second covers the top, then irones well and quickly pulls out the thread. When the sheet is opened, there is obtained some image, which can be finished to the intended image.

The technique of hitting with a hard brush

You will need: a hard brush, a gouache paint, a white sheet with a pencil drawn contour.

Methods of drawing: children do from left to right along the contour of the drawing of the drawing with a paintbrush without leaving a white space between them. Inside the received contour, children are painted with the same pokes, made in an arbitrary order. If necessary, the drawing can be finished with a fine brush.

Unconventional drawing in the older group

In the older group, children are already acquainted with more complex techniques: drawing with sand, soap bubbles, blotting, stenciling, monotyping, plasticine, mixing watercolors with wax crayons or a candle, spray.

Drawing in watercolors by candlelight or wax crayons

It will take: wax crayons or a candle, a dense white paper, watercolor, brushes.

Method of drawing: children first draw wax crayons or a candle on a white sheet, and then paint it all with watercolor. A drawing drawn with crayons or a candle will remain white.

Monotype

It will take: white paper, brushes, paint (gouache or watercolor).

Drawing method: children fold a white sheet in half, on one side draw a half of the given object, and then the sheet again folds and is well ironed, so that the still dried ink is printed on the second half of the sheet.

Kleksografiya

It will take: a liquid paint (watercolor or gouache), a brush, white paper.

Method of drawing: the child, typing paint on the brush, from a certain height drips into the middle of the sheet, then the paper tilts in different directions or blows on the resulting drop. Fantasy then tells you who the blob looked like.

The urgency of using non-traditional drawing in kindergarten is that such drawing causes children only positive emotions, because children are not afraid to make mistakes, become more confident in their abilities and they have a desire to paint.
