Wedding cards scrapbooking

The wedding is one of the most important events in the life of each couple, and on this day the newlyweds hasten to congratulate many relatives and friends, and everyone wants to make their congratulations unforgettable. How not to get lost in all this diversity?

To make a greeting unusual card will help you. Yes, yes, do not be surprised, it's the postcard. Only this card should be not only original, but also very personal for the couple that you congratulate. And to create such a postcard you will need fairly simple materials and, of course, the desire to create.

Scrapbooking card for a wedding - a master class

Necessary materials and tools:

And also it would be nice to have a photo of the couple you want to congratulate (after all we make a special postcard).

So, having prepared the necessary we proceed to the master class on the creation of a wedding card in the technique of scrapbooking:

  1. First of all, using a ruler and a clerical knife, we will cut scrap paper, watercolor paper and cardboard into parts of the right size. The sizes look on a photo.
  2. Next, prepare the basis of our postcard - on the largest rectangle we make a creasing (we indicate the place of the fold), I used a ruler and a simple teaspoon for this purpose.
  3. Then add our base and glue the ribbon, pre-lightly covering the edge of the tape so that it does not dissolve with time.
  4. The next step is to prepare an inscription and a watercolor paper. White is, of course, a beautiful color, but after all we make an unusual postcard, so it's worth adding a little color. To do this, we shade the surface of the paper with a suitable pencil in color, and then we shade a piece of cloth or paper.
  5. Add a bit of clarity to our work - at the edges of the paper with a pencil, a helium pen or a drawing pen, draw a simulation of the sewing line.
  6. Next, we will paste the decorative elements on the substrate and trim the excess so. To the edge could be seen for 2-3 mm.

It's time to start creating jewelry:

  1. As decorations, I stopped at the hearts, but you can choose any element - flowers, circles, clouds, etc. So, hearts: draw the right amount on the wrong side of the watercolor paper, and then color it. It is desirable that the decorations fit in a tone to our paper.
  2. After drying, you need to add a little bit of clarity to our hearts-for this we select the necessary pencils, and then draw the outline and add shades.

And now it's time to collect all the details into one whole:

  1. The "heart" of our postcard is no less important than its "front" part, so let's go to the design with imagination. On the sides of the inscriptions and photo frames we will make cuts with the help of a clerical knife and ruler, and after that we will insert ribbons into these slots.
  2. Important!!! If you immediately paste a photo of a newly-married couple, then do not forget that it should be 0.5 cm less than the previous layer of paper and it will be better if you capture a photo with a ribbon at once creating a single image.

  3. With the help of an adhesive tape, we fix the inscription and the photo frame, tuck and glue the edges of the tape, and then glue the finished parts to the substrate. This is the kind of joy we got in the middle.

It's time to go to the final part - the design of the front side.

  1. Be sure to make a composition, try the options, because then it will be extremely difficult to fix.
  2. Spread out the details in the order you like, glue the picture, and then start fixing the hearts - for this we take a tight cardboard (we use beer cardboard, but in this case the corrugated cardboard - the one used for boxes) is suitable and we attach small squares to the hearts.
  3. Such a technique will betray our decorations volume and airiness-now the hearts seem to soar above the postcard.
  4. Well, the last step - we fix all the details on the base and, if desired, add rhinestones or beads. Such wedding cards in the style of scrapbooking made by themselves will be a wonderful gift and can rightfully take their place in the family archive - they will carry not only pleasant wishes, but also happy moments of their life, captured in the photo.
