Opening of the gallery
The gallery was opened in 1994 by the efforts of several townspeople who are not indifferent to the national culture. The appearance of the shopping center pursued a specific goal: to position South African decorative and applied art as an interesting original product and to support it in competition with industrial goods. Gallery Wezandla has contracts with artists, potters, weavers, accepts individual orders, cooperates with many art galleries and museums of the country.

You can find everything to please your family and friends - jewelry and bright costume jewelery, painted caskets and wicker baskets, books, notebooks and CDs, original ostrich eggs, local sweets, including the famous South African rooibos tea.
There is a gallery of cafes for visitors, where you can relax from shopping, have a snack, drink fragrant coffee, eat a special carrot pie and share your impressions. During tea drinking, you can continue to admire the pictures. According to the owner of the gallery, he opened a cafe "in order to distract bored men while their ladies make purchases."

The gallery is located on Baaken St., 27, near the beginning of the main street of the city center, Mbeki Avenue.
