Features of the lighthouse
The old lighthouse of Gardaskagaviti is located in the northwestern part of the Reykjanes peninsula. It was built in the late XIX century, or rather in 1897. From 1962 to 1978, the lighthouse was used as an observatory for observation and study of birds.
