Vitamins of group B have a wide spectrum of action in the body: they are responsible for metabolic processes, stimulate the development of connective tissue, strengthen the wall of blood vessels, have antioxidant properties, influence the formation and development of nerve tissue, intestinal tubes, hematopoiesis and differentiation of blood elements.
Angiovitis during pregnancy is prescribed to prevent premature birth, prevention and treatment of fetoplacental insufficiency (a condition where a child does not receive enough nutrients due to insufficient blood supply through the umbilical cord and the placenta).
Angiovitis is indicated in the presence of the following conditions:
- hypovitaminosis and vitamin deficiency of B group vitamins (B6, B9, B12);
- period of recovery after serious illnesses, surgical intervention, bright physical and psychoemotional loads;
- ischemic heart disease;
- diabetic angiopathy;
- hyperhomocysteinemia;
- insufficiency of cerebral circulation of atherosclerotic genesis;
- chronic placental insufficiency and any violations of fetoplacental blood circulation during pregnancy.
Fetoplacental insufficiency threatens both the future child and the mother with such conditions as:
- premature discharge of amniotic fluid;
- premature exit of the mucous plug;
- premature placental abruption;
- intrauterine fetal hypoxia;
- fetal hypotrophy of different degree of severity.

This drug is prescribed mainly in the second trimester, with reception until the end of pregnancy together with calcium-containing drugs and tocopherol (vitamin E).
1 tablet of the drug Angiovit contains:
- vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) - 4 mg;
- vitamin B9 (folic acid) - 5 mg;
- vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) - 6mkg.
In one package - 60 tablets.
Angiovitis - dosage during pregnancy
Recommended dosage for pregnant women - 1 tablet 2 times a day, regardless of food intake. For the treatment of placental insufficiency, individual dose selection is recommended depending on the level of deficiency of B6, B9 and B12, as well as data of clinical research and concomitant diseases of the pregnant woman.
Adverse Reactions
There are various allergic reactions to the drug - urticaria, rash, irritation, itching, Quincke's edema (extremely rare). In case of adverse reactions, the drug should be discontinued and consult a doctor for symptomatic treatment.
Overdose of the drug
Episodes of an overdose are unknown. Treatment is symptomatic.
