Art without Gluten: useful paintings by Arthur Koole

That's what would have happened if there had been no gluten in the world!

Complex protein, gluten, is a part of the most popular cereals in the diet, such as wheat, barley and rye, and its content reaches almost 80% of the mass of the grain. And given that the Latin name gluten translates as "glue" or "gluten", it is not difficult to guess that it is gluten that helps us to combine flour with liquid, knead an elastic dough and delight the family with lush baking!

It would seem that up to this point we have listed solid pluses, if it were not for the fact that 1% of the world population, and this is practically every hundredth of its inhabitants, has a rare disease - an allergy to this protein, or celiac disease. In such cases, human immunity perceives gluten as a foreign substance (even in very small doses!) And fights against it, simultaneously delivering to the owner considerable torments in the form of a digestive tract disorder, not mastering important trace elements and sugars, headaches and hair loss!

Moreover, gluten can get into even those products in which it is not contained only because they were processed on the same equipment!

Well, in order to allow an allergic gluten to live an active and full life, the producers produce products labeled "without gluten" or certainly mark its presence in the composition, nutritionists develop special gluten-free diets, and creative people help make life "without gluten" interesting and creative!

Well, at least, as a series of "gluten-free museum" by the French artist-graphic artist Arthur Coule (Arthur Coulet). His options for masterpieces of art are completely devoid of gluten!
