Treatment of diseases involves increasing the dosage right up to a whole glass of food additive. To improve the taste of the drug, it is recommended to mix it with warm green tea, non-acidic natural juices or water.
How to prepare blue iodine at home?
There are two most popular ways to make a biologically active supplement yourself.
The recipe for the preparation of blue iodine:
- About 20 g of potato starch dissolved in 50 ml of warm boiled water.
- Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 0.5 g of citric acid (several grains) to the mixture.
- In 150 ml of boiling water, slowly pour the resulting solution, stirring it quickly.
- Cover the container with a lid and allow to cool.
- Add 1 teaspoon of alcohol solution of iodine (5%) to the chilled starch pudding and gently mix the ingredients.
The medicine should be stored in the refrigerator for several months, until it loses an intense blue color.
Another way to prepare:
- Mix 50 ml of cold pure water, 1 teaspoon of 5% iodine solution per alcohol and 10 g of potato starch.
- Boil a glass of water, allow to cool for 7 minutes.
- Mix the liquid, stirring them quickly.
Keep the product in a cool place for no more than 20 days.
The medicinal properties of blue iodine are active as long as it retains the inherent intense blue color. As soon as the solution begins to change color, it becomes unsuitable for use.
