Basic components of the toothpaste composition

In fact, toothpastes are nothing more than a medicine that is often used to prevent dental diseases, but it can also be useful in treating certain ailments. Varieties of cleaning products are many. Depending on this, the composition of the toothpaste also changes insignificantly. But always the following components must remain in it:

  2. The composition of any natural toothpaste should include moisturizers like glycerin, sorbitol or polyethylene glycol. These substances retain moisture and prevent premature drying of the detergent.

What should not be part of the whitening or anti-inflammatory toothpaste?

There are several components that manufacturers like to add to pastes, despite the fact that medicine does not strongly recommend it. Among them:

  1. Triclosan is a substance that destroys the mass of beneficial microorganisms and disturbs a healthy microflora. Triclosan also adversely affects the natural flora of the oral cavity.
  2. Sodium lauryl sulfate dries heavily the skin and mucous membranes, which leads to the formation of wounds and irritations.
