Compote of apricots

  1. Apricots carefully washing under cold water, cut in half and take out the stone
  2. We take a large saucepan, pour 3 l of water into it and pour out 3 cups of sugar. Bring to a boil. We wait until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. In another saucepan, boil the lids for rolling.
  4. We put apricots in cans and fill each jar with the resulting syrup, and then immediately roll the jars with a lid.
  5. Then turn the cans and put them in a warm place for a few days until the compote is ready.

Now you know the basic ways of how to brew compote from apricots. This is done fairly simply and does not take much time. And most importantly, at any time of the year you can treat yourself to a delicious and natural compote.

The main thing when preparing compote is not to forget that the bones of fruit need to be removed necessarily and that compote, until complete preparation, you need to cool down. Because the cold compote completely retains its rich taste and aroma of fresh apricots. If it seems that the drink turned out to be very sweet, you can dilute it with water. Also in the compote you can add ice slices and serve to guests at the festive table.

Apricot compote is also useful for girls who aspire to keep their figure, because this product is absolutely not caloric, and besides it is also very useful, especially for people suffering from diabetes.

Some believe that roll in compotes - it's harmful to the human body. And in this case it is possible to make compote from apricots without sterilization.

For this, in addition to sugar, add citric acid. It gives a special flavor to the compote and makes the taste more saturated.
