How to cook jam from red ashberry? Take half the indicated amount of sugar and about 750 ml of water. Prepare the sugar syrup. Fill the sugar in a saucepan, add water and heat it, stirring with a spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved. Bring to a boil and boil for about 3 minutes on low heat. Fill the hot syrup with berries and let stand for 4-5 hours. After the specified time, salt the syrup, add the remaining sugar to it and boil it for about 5 minutes. We will again fill the fruits of the mountain ash with syrup and again leave the hour for 4. The procedure will be repeated twice more and finally we will boil the jam in the fourth cycle. The total cooking time for 4 cycles should not exceed 40 minutes - then the fruits will remain intact. You can cook apple-rowan jam and a few differently, faster. So, another version of the jam. Fill the sliced ​​apples with sugar. Let's stand, so that the pieces of apples have plenty of juice.
