The popular hero Harry Potter has long been an idol, both children and adults. Many people want to feel like wizards, being in his "skin". That's why for a New Year's party, a costume party or Halloween costume, Harry Potter can be very useful. Consider, for example, how to sew a Harry Potter costume.
- Let's start creating a Harry Potter suit with our own hands from the robes - this is the most voluminous and complex part of the work. For the mantle, a black cloth is required for the outer layer and red for the lining. As a basis, we can take the following scheme.
- We prepare the pattern in accordance with the size of the one for whom the costume is intended, and draw two details of the gear, back, sleeves and hood on the black fabric and two pieces on the red fabric.
- We collect all the parts one at a time, first we make a note, then a line. When it turned out two cloaks - one red, the other black, iron all the seams and connect the outer and inner parts.
- Connecting the cloak with a lining on the contour, we turn it to the front side and once again make a line on all edges of the product. The mantle, which makes the costume recognizable, is ready!

You can do this with a normal yellow oracle or yellow tape. Cut the strips in a width of 1.5 cm and paste them diagonally. In this case, the strip on the knot of the tie should be glued at the opposite angle for verisimilitude.
- How can you make a Harry Potter costume and forget about the distinctive emblems? That would be completely wrong. Therefore, we find the Gryffindor patch or we make it ourselves. You can print the icon on paper and paste it to a cardboard base.
- The next detail that you need to supplement the original Harry Potter costume is the famous glasses. They can simply be wound from wire, but this option will not look very aesthetic, so you can try your hand at a more complicated business. We take the copper wire and prepare the necessary details of the frame, then solder them. The glasses are already similar to the real ones, but a few more strokes are needed. Places of soldering and earhooks are covered with hardening plastic, after which we paint the entire product in black.
- Anyone, and even more so the New Year costume of Harry Potter must be equipped with a magic wand. Here, too, you can buy something ready, and you can create. For example, we buy a long wooden dowel and create a relief on it. For this, rotating the dowel in a circle, smoothly apply a silicone glue on it, as if wrapping it. When the glue stiffens well, you can turn an ordinary wand into a magic wand. We cover the instrument with several layers of silver paint, after which we fix the paint with a layer of varnish.
