As you know, in the hands of a creative person any thing can turn into a real work of art. Even from an ordinary bottle, glass or plastic, you can make a lot of interesting crafts, such as this kind and very nice doll. Our today's master class will be devoted to the secrets of making dolls on a bottle.
To create a doll, we need:
- an empty bottle of small volume;
- ball of foam plastic;
- polymer clay;
- thin wire;
- knife;
- acrylic paints;
- small pieces of colored fabrics.
Getting Started
- We pick up a ball of foam or polystyrene foam and cover it with a thin layer of polymer clay. Install the ball on the neck of the bottle.
- From the polymer clay we separate a piece the size of a walnut and roll it out.
- Clay the neck of the bottle neck, softening the transition from the head of the doll (ball) to the trunk (bottle).
- A small ball of clay is cut into two equal parts.
- We fix the resulting halves of the ball to the body - these will be the shoulders of our doll.
- With the help of an awl we will make holes in the shoulders through which the hands will be fastened.
- For hands, use pieces of wire 25-30 cm long. We cut each piece twice and twist it with the help of pliers.
- We insert the wire into the hole in the shoulders, cut it to the desired length and arrange it with clay.
- We proceed to the design of the head - we will sculpt the face.
- We'll weave the clay out of the clay and lay it curly on the head - it will be a handkerchief.
- After the clay has completely dried (after about 36-48 hours), draw a face doll and start dressing it.
- For the puppet dress we will take multi-colored pieces of fabric. We measure the distance from the chest of our doll to the bottom of the bottle and its circumference in the widest place. By these measures, we cut out the rectangle from the base fabric and glue it to the bottom of the bottle.
- Gently distribute the fabric on the bottle, straightening the folds, and remove the excess.
- We continue to dress the doll until we achieve the desired result. To create a dress, you can use pieces of different fabrics, ribbons, beads and beads.
- As a result, we'll get such a wonderful doll!
