Hugh Jackman saved several people caught in a dangerous current

This incident occurred yesterday, when the actor and his family rested on the Australian Bondi beach in Sydney. On the eve of this event, Hugh with his wife, son and relatives came to inspect the new mansion, which the actor bought. However, they did not have time to fully "get to know" the new dwelling, as Hugh had to play the role of a superhero and save people.

No signs of trouble

Bondi Beach is a very popular holiday destination for Australians and guests of Sydney. As a rule, this beach rarely falls into the list of "closed", because large waves or rapid current is rarely observed here. However, this time everything turned out the opposite, and in a matter of seconds the calm water turned into a rapid current that departs from the shore to the sea.

Hugh Jackman was at the moment on the beach, but his 15-year-old son Oscar was already swimming in the ocean. When the panic among people began, the actor did not lose his head and in a matter of seconds found himself in the water. He helped the bathers get out of the fast current and swim to the sand spit. One of the most exciting moments was the rescue of an elderly man named Adam and his daughter. The actor neatly pulled to the shallows first the girl, and then her father. Later, Adam gave an interview in which he told that Hugh was a real hero, and he is proud that he was saved by this famous actor.

As the rescuers later explained, who arrived at the scene, the rapid current is considered absolutely normal at low tide in the ocean. However, swimming in this case is strictly prohibited, because getting out yourself from the water can be very difficult.
