Ibuklin for children

With the modern variety of antipyretic drugs for children, we often use the same proven means: wiping with water, vinegar, alcohol, paracetamol. And at the same time, the situation is very different. Sometimes it is required to quickly knock off the heat, and then more powerful remedies, consisting of several antipyretic components, such as, for example, analgin with dimedrol or ibuklin (paracetamol with ibuprofen), come to the rescue.

Side effects of taking ibuklin

Usually, take the drug ibuklin children with caution, so that the side effects of this medication did not negate the entire benefit from it. Among them we can note dyspepsia and diarrhea, allergic skin rash, itching, irregularities in the liver, a decrease in the number of platelets in the blood, swelling, dizziness. Serious side effects from the liver and gastrointestinal tract arise precisely because of the combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol in a single preparation. Separately, these drugs are less dangerous, but also less effective.

You can doubt whether it is possible, given these side effects, to give ibuklin to children. It is possible, but only under the prescription of the doctor and only in that case when this medicine is really necessary. In this case, try to ensure that the dose of taking the drug was minimal. If you just want to bring down the temperature in a child with ARI, then use a panadol or nurofen syrup for this.
