What is the difference between Ursosan and Livedoks's drug?

As noted above, both Livevox and Ursosan contain the same active substance. Therefore, the pharmacological action of these drugs is also the same, and they are interchangeable. However, between these agents there is a difference, consisting in the form of release and in the amount of ursodeoxycholic acid in them. Ursosan is available in the form of capsules with an active substance content of 250 g, in a gelatinous shell. LIVELEKSA is produced in the form of tablets in a film coat and can contain 150 or 300 g of active substance. In this regard, lists of excipients of preparations differ.

Liverax as additional components contains:

• starch;
• sodium lauryl sulfate;
• hypromellose;
• lactose;
• magnesium stearate;
• silica;
• povidone;
• talc.

The film membrane of these tablets consists of cellulose, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, macrogol.

Auxiliary substances of Ursosan are:

• starch;
• silicon dioxide colloidal;
• magnesium stearate.

The shell consists of gelatin and titanium dioxide.

It should be noted that the differences considered do not practically influence the absorption of the main component of the drugs and its therapeutic effect on the body. However, to recommend that it is better to use Livevox or Ursosan, in each specific case, only the attending physician can, since different dosages of the active substance are required for different diseases.

Side Effects of Ursosan and Ledelux
