The monument is dedicated to the bloody events of the late XX century. Two city military units, 501 and 502, participated in battles for the city, in particular, they filmed the siege of the Serbs. Bihac was badly damaged at this time, many buildings and historical architectural monuments were destroyed. The account of the dead civilians went on dozens.
The siege lasted 3 years and was withdrawn only after a large-scale operation called "Storm". It was held in late summer 1995, 501 and 502 bihachi mountain brigades participated in the storming of the city and distinguished themselves in battles.

The monument was established by grateful townspeople and symbolizes the courage and heroism of the soldiers of the 501 and 502 brigades. The attraction is a fairly simple board of noble black marble. It shows two emblems - 501 and 502 brigades.
